Though it rained in the days leading up to their mid-December wedding, the wedding day rose to the promises of sunshine and mild temperatures. It couldn’t have suited Alina and Jonathan’s bright and cheery demeanors any better. Alina and Jonathan’s love is a sweet one, and their wedding day brought it out in full form. For their first look, she greeted him with a mason jar containing memories that she jotted down throughout their year of dating, and he presented her with a handwritten letter.
I was happy to once again have the love of my life along to help capture such an important day in another couple’s lives. Casey’s photos are marked with small, white pine trees in the corner. Thanks to him capturing much of the so-called meat and potatoes alongside me, I was able to especially concentrate on Alina and Jonathan and the intricacies that made their day especially them. With all the attention to the details Alina approached her wedding day with, it was inspiring to follow her Facebook, blog and Pinterest updates leading up to the wedding. So, we can attribute the enormity of this post not only to my never-failing difficulty in paring down but particularly to the time, thought and creativity that Alina put into the bringing all the gorgeous details of the day together. I applaud her efforts and hope that these photos can help to preserve all the hard work she put into the day!

After seeing her pin a similar hanger on Pinterest, a friend bought her this phenomenal one for the big day. AND…Alina made her bouquet. It’s true; she’s just that good.

Boutonnieres, too, were made by Alina and Jonathan:

Gorgeous, Alina! Seriously.

More of Alina’s handiwork!

You guessed it: made by Alina…with love.

Fulton Valley Farms proved to be a charming yet rustic venue.

You better believe Alina made this stunning cake stand. The topper is the same one her grandparents used at their wedding.

Congratulations, you two! Many, many years of happiness to you!

Thank you, thank you, Jen and Tim for allowing me to document your beautiful day!
